About Aeiwa

Aeiwa was founded by two colleagues who worked at the same bank and first connected while collaborating on projects across very different teams. Despite approaching problems from different disciplines, we kept arriving at the same conclusion: most business software is designed around systems and reporting—not around how businesses actually operate.

Our backgrounds are intentionally complementary. One founder has formal training in Applied Physics and experience working on highly complex, data-intensive systems—ranging from scientific research to large-scale machine learning and analytics platforms in regulated environments. That work required translating advanced theory into practical, reliable software used by real teams under real constraints.

The other founder holds a dual major in Management, Economics, and Finance, and brings deep, hands-on experience from the retail world—starting on the front line, moving into store leadership, opening new locations, and later advising businesses on operations and growth. That perspective comes from years of living with the consequences of operational decisions, not just modeling them.

Between us, we've worked in small businesses and large organizations. We've seen how powerful tools can fail when they ignore day-to-day realities, and how overly simple systems break as soon as a business starts to grow. That tension—between capability and usability—is exactly where Aeiwa is built.

We believe great business software should be technically robust without being difficult to use. It should respect the time, attention, and judgment of the people running the business. No jargon, no unnecessary complexity—just tools that make real work easier.
